My new DSL router features 2 USB ports for attaching and sharing mass-storage devices or printers on the network. Lately I found some time to check out how that could serve my needs and stumbled across something I wasn’t really prepared for.

The myth of the cost of defect

Be it Bloody Mary, the sewer alligators, the
kidney heist or you name it, we all know myths and urban legends. Today, let me add another really scary one to that list: The “cost of defect” metric.

Mobile Testing is complex.

Is that statement really true? And if so – is mobile testing complex in itself or only when compared to other testing? And where does that complexity come from?
